Opening Day 2017 and Hwy 8 is Open!

We are happy to see that Hwy 8 is now officially open all the way to Taylors Falls, MN so there are no worries regarding road construction!!  We are located just east of the new roundabout at the intersection of Hwy 8 and 95.

Today is our opening day and our checklist is done.

Trains are ready to go - check!

Train search for kids of all ages - check!

Hot cider, hot chocolate, ginger snaps and candy canes - check!

Wreaths - check!

Precut trees - check!

Cut your own trees - check!

Gift shop - check!

Hours are 9am to 9pm with precut sales only after dark.

Cash only - no credit cards.

2016 OPENING DAY - FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 25

Erickson Bros Tree Farm will be open for the season beginning at 9am on Friday, November 25, 2016.  We are located on Hwy. 8 - 3 miles east of Taylors Falls and 3 miles west of Shafer.  We look forward to seeing our returning customers as well as many new friends!  The trains are up and running, wreaths and trees are looking good and we have many items in our gift area.  Hot cider, hot chocolate, ginger snaps and candy canes await you!

Our hours will be expanded this year from 9am to 9pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until Dec. 24.  Cut your own and precut trees are available and our staff will be happy to assist you in tying your tree securely to your vehicle.  Only precut trees will be available for sale after dark or about 5:30pm.  We are still a cash only business - sorry - no credit cards.

Highway 8 has been under construction all summer and we hope it will reopen to Taylors Falls by this weekend. There is a new roundabout at the intersection of Hwy. 8 and 95.   However, even if Hwy. 8 still has a "local traffic only" sign, you can use Hwy. 8 as we are only about 200 yards after the new roundabout.

OPEN DAILY TIL CHRISTMAS

We will be open daily til Christmas - 9am to 6pm.  We still have a good selection of precut trees.  Stop in on your way to the cabin, home or wherever you plan to spend Christmas!

OPEN 3pm-6pm TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY THIS WEEK

Due to the extremely wet weather we've been having, we will be open from 3pm-6pm on Tuesday, Dec. 15, Wednesday, Dec. 16 and Thursday, Dec. 17.  We hope this will provide a little extra time to get your tree without getting rained on!

HWY 8 ENTRANCE is OPEN

Due to the warm and wet weather and the ensuing mud, we have had to close the rear entrance off Tern Ave.  The main entrance off Hwy. 8 is still open.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and look forward to seeing you at the farm!

Christmas Season opens Nov. 27, 2015

Erickson Bros Tree Farm will be open for business beginning Friday, Nov. 27, 2015.  We are not open on Thanksgiving Day.  We hope you will have a very Happy Thanksgiving Day with your friends and family!

Our hours are from 9:00am to 6:00pm, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 20.  The final week of Christmas we will be open Dec. 21-Dec. 24 from 9:00am to 6:00pm.

We have a large selection of precut and cut your own trees to choose from.  Our indoor sales area allows you to warm up with some hot cider or hot chocolate while you watch our large model train layout.  Children of all ages enjoy watching these trains travel around a winter and summer landscape.  Children especially enjoy finding all the objects on the landscape using our famous Train Search!

Tree shaker and netting as well as staff to help tie your tree to your vehicle.

We are located at 19994 Lake Blvd, Shafer, Mn.  This is just past the intersection of Hwy 8 and Hwy. 95.  We have a back entrance just off of Tern Ave. as well.

Lastly, we are a small family business and do not use credit cards.  Cash only please.

2014 Extended Hours from Wed., Dec. 17 til Wed., Dec. 24

We will be open from 9am to 6pm beginning Wed., Dec. 17 until Wed., Dec. 24, 2014.  We still have a good selection of precut trees as well as cut your own.  Our indoor sales area has tree stands, lights and ornaments to make your decorating easy.  We also have a variety of handmade gift items for those last minute gifts.
