Christmas Season opens Nov. 27, 2015

Erickson Bros Tree Farm will be open for business beginning Friday, Nov. 27, 2015.  We are not open on Thanksgiving Day.  We hope you will have a very Happy Thanksgiving Day with your friends and family!

Our hours are from 9:00am to 6:00pm, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 20.  The final week of Christmas we will be open Dec. 21-Dec. 24 from 9:00am to 6:00pm.

We have a large selection of precut and cut your own trees to choose from.  Our indoor sales area allows you to warm up with some hot cider or hot chocolate while you watch our large model train layout.  Children of all ages enjoy watching these trains travel around a winter and summer landscape.  Children especially enjoy finding all the objects on the landscape using our famous Train Search!

Tree shaker and netting as well as staff to help tie your tree to your vehicle.

We are located at 19994 Lake Blvd, Shafer, Mn.  This is just past the intersection of Hwy 8 and Hwy. 95.  We have a back entrance just off of Tern Ave. as well.

Lastly, we are a small family business and do not use credit cards.  Cash only please.

We will be open from 9am to 6pm beginning Wed., Dec. 17 until Wed., Dec. 24, 2014.  We still have a good selection of precut trees as well as cut your own.  Our indoor sales area has tree stands, lights and ornaments to make your decorating easy.  We also have a variety of handmade gift items for those last minute gifts.

2014 Opening Day at Erickson Bros Tree Farm!

We had a wonderful day with lots of return families coming to cut down their Christmas tree.  There was a first at the tree farm this year and that was a family that cut three trees and is taking them back to TEXAS!!!  Needless to say, the weather was a bit of a shock for them, but they loved having a real Minnesota Christmas tree experience!

Opening for 2013 season on Friday, November 29,  9am to 6pm

LOCATION - Erickson Bros Tree Farm is located 100 yards from the intersection of Hwy 8 and 95, 3 miles west of Taylors Falls on Hwy 8.   Our address is:  19994 Lake Blvd., Shafer, MN 55074.

HOURS - We are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 6pm between Thanksgiving and Christmas. 

TREE VARIETIES - We offer short needle (Balsam Fir, Colorado Blue Spruce, White Spruce) and long needle (Norway, White and Scotch Pine) varieties  on our precut lot or to cut your own in our fields.  Fraser Fir is available on our precut lot.  Our trees range from 5 feet up to 14 foot in some varieties.  

MODEL TRAINS - We have two large model train layouts for your enjoyment.  Children of all ages can enjoy the display indoors in our heated sales area.

HOT CIDER - Come inside for a free cup of hot cider, cookies and candy canes while your tree is tied to your vehicle.

TREE SHAKER - Free tree shaking to remove any loose needles and debris from your tree.

NETTING - We can net your tree to make it easier to transport and set up in your home.  Netting charge of $1.00 per tree.

PAYMENT - Cash only.  There is an ATM in Shafer or Taylors Falls.  We do not have credit card/debit card options.

Nisse - The Scandinavian Christmas Elves - have been visiting the Erickson Bros Tree Farm!  See if you can spot all 8 of them when you are out cutting/choosing your tree!

Christmas Tree Season 2012

Erickson Brothers Tree Farm will be open for the 2012 season beginning the Friday after Thanksgiving, Nov. 23.  We will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 6 PM between Nov. 23 and Dec. 23.
